The civil engineering industry in South Africa is evolving and embracing new methodologies and technologies to optimize and improve their road design workflows.

The right engineering knowledge combined with digital design skills is a key differentiator for companies to select new candidates as they aim to increase their competitive edge with digitalization.

Bentley Systems, the global leader in infrastructure software together with the South African Roads Federation (SARF) will be hosting a series of educational webinars that will discuss the evolution of road engineering workflows, the state of digitalization in road design.

Join road design experts Warren McLachlan, Basil Jonsson, and Sergio Cediel as they introduce some of the digitalization tools and workflows that can help engineers optimize and improve their designs.

In this webinar, we will showcase:

  • Session 1: September 15
Introduction to the Evolution and Digitalization of Road Design
In this first session we will talk about the capabilities of digital workflows for road design to speed up the design time, improves the quality and accuracy of deliverables and reduce cost. We also will have a discussion with local experienced engineers about existing problems and difficulties for road design and its evolution.
