Join us for a webinar to learn how Bentley’s solutions assist you in designing deep tunnel sewerage systems including geotechnical analysis of such projects
The session is divided into two parts.
In the first part, learn how you can leverage Bentley’s OpenFlows - hydraulic modeling tools to build and design sewerage systems that are laid deep underground for certain projects, also known as deep tunnel sewerage systems (DTSS). In the second part, learn the benefits of these solutions such as enhanced productivity and ensure providing project deliverables on time
Agenda for Part-1: OpenFlows SewerGEMS
- Get an overview of OpenFlows solutions specifically OpenFlows SewerGEMS
- Learn how OpenFlows SewerGEMS helps you in building, designing & modeling deep tunnel sewerage systems
- Understand workflows of designing sewerage systems that are laid in deep using OpenFlows SewerGEMS
- Lastly, how you can integrate OpenFlows SewerGEMS within Bentley Civil Suite such as OpenRoads Designer for these types of sewerage projects
A deep tunnel sewerage system needs construction of the tunnel and can be challenging in many ways such as stability during construction, disturbance to already existing subsurface structures, unfavorable geotechnical conditions, and underwater cases, etc. Therefore, modeling of tunnel and tunneling process requires special attention. Tunnel boring process using TBM consist of many stages which needs to be modeled and analyzed properly. The second part of the webinar will showcase the application of PLAXIS.
Agenda for Part-2: PLAXIS
- Get an overview of Plaxis Solutions specifically for the deep tunnel sewerage system
- PLAXIS modeling workflow
- Learn how to model tunnel boring process with TBM using tunnel designer
- Understand stability, ground movement during tunnel construction, and structural forces inlining
