Part 1 | Overcoming Your Biggest Site Design Challenges

Having a custom tool capable of addressing all phases of site design and land development is critical. To meet client requirements and win bids, there is a need to quickly determine project feasibility and cost estimates while working on residential and commercial development projects.

Join our product expert David Settlemyer in the first of a three-part webinar series as he demonstrates how OpenSite automates tedious and manual work to significantly reduce site design time. Whatever your design, however complex, we will show you how OpenSite can handle it faster and easier.

What you will learn:

  • How to improve site layout modeling and model multiple design scenarios for a project
  • How to incorporate OpenSite into your daily workflow
  • Parametric design tools for quick layout
  • How to acquire existing site topography and conditions in minutes

Part 2 | Automation in Site and Land Design

Creating grading and stormwater plans can be one of the most time-consuming elements of site design, but with OpenSite, it doesn’t have to be.

In this session, our product expert David Settlemyer will continue to build on our project from Part 1, focusing on creating custom parking lots, all to user-controlled design standards, and apply optimization tools including grading, cost estimating, and utility design.

What you will learn:

  • How to take advantage of grading optimization to deliver more cost-effective designs
  • Discover how to complete design revisions in minutes
  • Cost-effective ways to design your project and determine feasibility
  • How to incorporate subsurface utilities

Part 3 | Bringing Your Design to Life With Visualizations

Civil Engineering Design and Development Services know that their ability to win new business is only as good as their ability to demonstrate the visual potential of a project.

In this session, we will continue building on the project from Parts 1 and 2, focusing on creating high-impact visualizations and animations that will help secure stakeholder buy-in and make your design a reality.

What you will learn:

  • How to visualize your designs and experience them in real-time
  • Get stakeholder buy-in using realistic visualization
  • How to deliver amazing images and videos to wow your audience

Part 4 | The OpenSite Challenge

Now for the most exciting part. In the first three webinars David takes you through the whole workflow start to finish, but in this webinar, we will tackle the toughest designs sent in for us to complete live.

What you will learn:

  • See for yourself the speed OpenSite can build complex designs, complete revisions, apply grading optimizations and create realistic visualizations
